Welcome to the CA EPBD dynamic database
The Concerted Action EPBD (CA EPBD) is a joint initiative between the EU Member States and the European Commission which aims to contribute to the reduction of energy use in European buildings, through the exchange of knowledge and best practices between representatives of national ministries or their affiliated institutions who are in charge of preparing the technical, legal and administrative framework for the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) in each of the 27 EU Member States, plus Norway and the UK.
The CA EPBD is collecting a wealth of information useful to EPBD national policy experts and other stakeholders. The key public outputs of the CA EPBD are gathered and organised in the present database of publications, structured around Country Reports and Thematic Reports.
The Country Reports give specific insights on the developments around EPBD implementation at the individual country/region level, and include relevant Key Implementation Decisions (KIDs) per country/region.
The Thematic Reports give a collective EU-wide overview on the development of relevant policies across Europe, summarising the discussions among CA EPBD experts during the CA EPBD 2018 – 2022 plenary sessions.
The contents in this database are being updated during CA EPBD 2018 – 2022 to reflect recent developments.
Please use the navigation 'tree' on the left to get an overview of country developments by topic, as well as the relevant KIDs for all countries.
You may also access the individual country reports and thematic reports directly.
