1 Christus' Wiederauferstehung wird den Frauen von einem Engel verkündet. 9 Er selbst erscheint ihnen. 11 Die Hohepriester geben den Soldaten Geld, damit sie sagen, er sei aus der Grabkammer gestohlen worden. 16 Christus erscheint seinen Jüngern 19 und schickt sie, zu taufen und alle Nationen zu lehren.
Chapter XXVIII
1 Christs resurrection is declared by an Angel, to the women. 9 He himselfe appeareth vnto them. 11 The high Priests giue the souldiers money to say that he was stollen out of his sepulchre. 16 Christ appeareth to his disciples, 19 and sendeth them to baptize and teach all Nations.

1 In the *ende of the Sabbath, as it began to dawne towards the first day of the weeke, came Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre.[*Mar. 16.1 iohn 20.1.]
2 Und siehe, dort ||war ein großes Erdbeben, als der Engel des Herrn vom Himmel herab kam und den Stein von der Tür weg rollte und auf ihm saß.[||oder: war gewesen]
2 And behold, there ||was a great earthquake, for the Angel of the Lord descended from heauen, and came and rolled backe the stone from the doore, and sate vpon it.[||Or, had bin]
3 Sein Antlitz war wie Blitzen und sein Umhang weiß wie Schnee.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snowe.
4 Und aus Furcht vor ihm zitterten die Bewacher und wurden wie tote Männer.
4 And for feare of him, the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 Und der Engel antwortete und sagte zu den Frauen "Fürchtet euch nicht: Denn ich weiß, dass ihr Jesus sucht, der gekreuzigt wurde.
5 And the Angel answered, and said vnto the women, Feare not ye: for I know that ye seeke Iesus, which was crucified.
6 Er ist nicht hier: Denn er ist auferstanden, wie er sagte: Kommt, seht den Ort, wo der Herr liegt.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as hee said: Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 Und geht schnell und erzählt seinen Jüngern, dass er von den Toten auferstanden ist. Und seht, er geht vor euch nach Galiläa, dort werdet ihr ihn sehen: Seht, ich habe es euch gesagt."
7 And goe quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. And behold, hee goeth before you into Galilee, there shall ye see him: loe, I haue told you.
8 Und sie entfernten sich schnell von der Grabkammer, mit Angst und großer Freude und rannten, die Nachricht den Jüngern zu bringen.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre, with feare and great ioy, and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 ¶ Und als sie gingen, es den Jüngern zu erzählen, siehe, traf Jesus sie und sagte "Seid alle gegrüßt." Und sie kamen und hielten ihn bei den Füßen und huldigten ihm.
9 ¶ And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Iesus met them, saying, All haile. And they came, and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Dann sagte Jesus zu ihnen "Seid nicht ängstlich: Geht, erzählt meinen Brüdern, dass sie nach Galiläa gehen und dort sollen sie mich sehen.
10 Then said Iesus vnto them, Be not afraid: Goe tell my brethren that they goe into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 ¶ Nun, als sie gingen, siehe, kamen einige der Wachen in die Stadt und zeigten den Hohepriestern all die Dinge, die getan worden waren.
11¶ Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the citie, and shewed vnto the chiefe Priests all the things that were done.
12 Und als sie mit ihren Ältesten versammelt waren und sich beraten hatten, gaben sie den Soldaten viel Geld
12 And when they were assembled with the Elders, and had taken counsell, they gaue large money vnto the souldiers,
13 Und sagten "Ihr sagt, 'Seine Jünger kamen bei Nacht und stahlen ihn weg während wir schliefen.'
13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 Und wenn dies dem Gouverneur zu Ohren kommt, werden wir ihn überzeugen und euch absichern."
14 And if this come to the gouernours eares, wee will perswade him, and secure you.
15 So nahmen sie das Geld und taten, wie ihnen gesagt wurde. Und diese Redensart wird bis heute gemeinhin unter den Juden wiedergegeben.
15 So they tooke the money, and did as they were taught. And this saying is commonly reported among the Iewes vntill this day.
16 ¶ Dann gingen die elf Jünger fort nach Galiläa, in die Berge, wo Jesus sie bestellt hatte.
16 ¶ Then the eleuen disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountaine where Iesus had appointed them.
17 Und als sie ihn sahen, huldigten sie ihm: Aber einige zweifelten.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 Und Jesus kam und sprach zu ihnen und sagte "Alle Macht ist mir gegeben im Himmel und auf der Erde.
18 And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me in heauen and in earth.
19 ¶*Geht ihr deshalb und lehrt alle Nationen, sie im Namen des Vaters, des Sohnes und des heiligen Geistes taufend:[*Markus 16:15]
19 ¶*Goe ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Sonne, and of the holy Ghost:[*Mark.16.15]
20 Lehrt sie, alles einzuhalten, was auch immer ich euch geboten habe: Und, seht, ich bin immer mit euch, sogar bis zum Ende der Welt. Amen."
20 Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and loe, I am with you alway, euen vnto the end of the world. Amen.
