Some people talk and write about contradictions or even errors in the King James Bible. In this section of the project we look at these alleged contradictions and errors and discuss them. Knowledge of these criticisms and discussions supports every participant in the project to be prepared for attacks on the results we work on. Because the same criticisms and attacks against the KJV 1611 will be issued against our project.

We will face criticism, e.g. why we didn’t “correct” these “obvious errors”. But that’s exactly what we don’t want to do. This project doesn’t correct the KJV in any way. The results of this project shall and will be the best translations of the original KJV possible. Including alleged or so called contradictions and errors.

It is the highest goal of this project to preserve the work of the 47 translators of the KJV 1611. With all its possible flaws, so called errors or alleged contradictions.

Reading this section of the project, many will find out that most of all these “errors” are just in the mind of the people stating them, not in the KJV itself. The more it is important to know them and to also know the explanations and also the discussions about these topics.

Therefore this might be one of the most important sections of the project and should have subsections for every translation language, if possible. Some of the results found here in the discussions will even make it to the final translations as footmarks.

Einige Leute sprechen und schreiben über Widersprüche oder sogar Fehler in der King James Bibel. In diesem Abschnitt des Projekts betrachten wir diese angeblichen Widersprüche und Fehler und diskutieren sie. Die Kenntnis dieser Kritikpunkte und Diskussionen unterstützt jeden Teilnehmer des Projekts, auf Angriffe auf die Ergebnisse vorbereitet zu sein, an denen wir arbeiten. Denn die gleichen Kritikpunkte und Angriffe gegen den KJV 1611 werden gegen unser Projekt gerichtet.

Wir werden kritisiert werden, warum wir z.B. diese "offensichtlichen Fehler" nicht "korrigiert" haben. Aber genau das wollen wir nicht tun. Dieses Projekt korrigiert die KJV in keiner Weise. Die Ergebnisse dieses Projekts sollen und werden die bestmöglichen Übersetzungen der ursprünglichen KJV sein. Einschließlich angeblicher oder sogenannter Widersprüche und Fehler.

Es ist das höchste Ziel dieses Projekts, die Arbeit der 47 Übersetzer des KJV 1611 zu bewahren. Mit all ihren möglichen Mängeln, sogenannten Fehlern oder angeblichen Widersprüchen.

Wenn sie diesen Abschnitt des Projekts lesen, werden Viele feststellen, dass die meisten dieser „Fehler“ nur im Kopf der Personen liegen, die sie angeben, und nicht in der KJV selbst. Umso wichtiger ist es, sie kennen und auch die Erklärungen und Diskussionen zu diesen Themen.

Daher könnte dies einer der wichtigsten Abschnitte des Projekts werden und sollte nach Möglichkeit Unterabschnitte für jede Übersetzungssprache enthalten. Einige der hier in den Diskussionen gefundenen Ergebnisse werden es sogar als Fußnoten in die endgültigen Übersetzungen schaffen.
