Introduction

The feature allows you to send Push-to-talk (PTT) messages to x-hoppers broadcast from a group conversation on mobile. With this option, users can send voice messages to x-hoppers broadcast via mobile and receive broadcast messages to conversations on mobile, having them played automatically in Speaker mode.

Requirements

Configuration

The configuration steps should be completed by an admin.

The PTT feature is enabled by default. For the feature to work on mobile, make sure that the Dialplan procedure used for managing x-hoppers calls (“users” as a rule) includes pbxservices (Service Codes Dialplan).

Make sure that a broadcast is configured in x-hoppers admin -> Broadcasts. This broadcast should include all x-hoppers headset users and mobile app users who will use the PTT feature. When configuring a broadcast, activate Transcription option to automatically send transcriptions and audio recordings of voice messages to dedicated x-hoppers broadcast conversation.

Usage

In addition to sending and receiving voice messages to x-hoppers broadcast via mobile, you can connect a PTT headset, such as Jabra Perform 45, and use it to send and receive PTT messages in broadcast conversations. To connect the device, go to Settings -> Integrations in the mobile app and tap Connect under Push-To-Talk button.

Note: The Push-to-Talk button can currently be used to connect only Jabra Perform 45 headset.
