CHAP. II.
1 God in the care of Ierusalem sendeth to measure it. 6 The redemption of Zion. 10 The promise of Gods presence.
1 Ich hob meine Augen erneut und schaute und siehe, ein Mann mit einer Maßschnur in seiner Hand.
1 I lift vp mine eyes againe, and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2 Dann sagte ich “Wohin gehst du?” Und er sagte zu mir “Jerusalem zu vermessen, zu sehen was die Breite davon ist und was die Länge davon ist.
2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And hee said vnto me, To measure Ierusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
3 Und siehe, der Engel, der mit mir sprach, ging vor und ein anderer Engel kam heraus ihn zu treffen:
3 And behold, the Angel that talked with me, went foorth, and another Angel went out to meete him:
4 Und sagte zu ihm “Lauf, sprich zu diesem jungen Mann und sage 'Jerusalem wird als Stadt ohne Mauern bewohnt werden, für die Mehrzahl der Menschen und des Viehs darin.
4 And said vnto him, Run, speake to this young man, saying; Ierusalem shall be inhabited as townes without walles, for the multitude of men and cattell therein.
5 Denn ich, sagte der HERR, werde rund herum ihre Mauer aus Feuer sein und werde die Herrlichkeit in ihrer Mitte sein.'“
5 For I, saith the LORD, will be vnto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
6 ¶ “Ho, ho, kommt hervor und flieht vom Land des Nordens”, sagt der HERR: “Denn ich habe euch verbreitet, wie die vier Winde des Himmels” sagt der HERR.
6 ¶ Ho, ho, come foorth, and flee from the land of the North, saith the LORD: for I haue spread you abroad as the foure windes of the heauen, sayth the LORD.
7 Erlöse dich selbst, oh Zion, das bei der Tochter von Babylon wohnt.
7 Deliuer thy selfe, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
8 Denn dies sagt der HERR der himmlischen Heerscharen “Nach der Herrlichkeit hat er mich zu den Nationen geschickt, die euch geplündert haben: Denn wer euch anrührt, rührt an seinen Augapfel.[5. Mose 32:10 Psalmen 17:8]
8 For thus sayth the LORD of hostes, After the glory hath he sent me vnto the nations which spoiled you: for he that *toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his eye. [ *Deu.32. 10. psal. 17.8. ]
9 Denn siehe, Ich will meine Hand über sie schwingen und sie werden eine Beute ihrer Diener werden: Und ihr werdet wissen, dass der HERR der himmlischen Heerscharen mich gesandt hat.”
9 For behold, I will shake mine hand vpon them, and they shall bee a spoile to their seruants: and yee shall know that the LORD of hostes hath sent me.
10 ¶ Singt und jubelt, oh Tochter Zions: Denn siehe, ich komme und *will in deiner Mitte wohnen, sagt der HERR.[*Jesaja 12:6 und 54:1 3. Mose 26:12 Hesekiel 37:27 2. Korinther 6:18]
10 ¶ Sing and reioyce, O daughter of Zion: for loe, I come, and I *will dwell in the middest of thee, sayth the LORD.
[ * Isai 12.6. and 54.1. , Leuit. 26. 12. ezek. 37.27. 2. cor.6.18. ]
11 Und viele Nationen werden dem HERRN beitreten an diesem Tag und werden mein Volk sein: Und ich werde mitten unter euch wohnen und ihr werdet wissen, dass der HERR der himmlischen Heerscharen mich zu euch geschickt hat.”
11And many nations shalbe ioyned to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwel in the middest of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hostes hath sent me vnto thee.
12 Und der HERR wird Juda seinen Erbteil am heiligen Land geben und wird Jerusalem wieder erwählen.
12 And the LORD shall inherite Iudah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Ierusalem againe.
13 Sei still, oh alles Fleisch, vor dem HERRN: Denn er ist auferstanden aus +seiner heiligen Wohnstätte.[+Hebr.: die Wohnstätte seiner Heiligkeit]
13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised vp out of +his holy habitation. [ +Heb. the habitation of his holines. ]
