Main requirements:
Crisis Management - How do we get messages out on mass and record responses from students?
Marketing - using for course sign-ups/promotions to sign up students for next course.
Operations - feedback links. Welcome messages.
Schoolworks already have an existing integration with ValueText.
Valuetext
License fee and “per message” fee.
Need to re-activate the existing integration and update the app.
Buy a bundle of messages. Varies for UK and international numbers.
Set up a How To guide of what to do.
Response
Send a link to them to respond through (which would require internet connection)
Reply to the message. More technical. Buy an outbound route. No naming system on phone numbers.
Can send from a name, but cannot send to a name.
Can send from a “random” +4478XXX number. Can reply as SMS. Need to “buy” the number.
Could do both with this option - ask student to reply YES or click on the link.
Can send through a list view or report.
Can report on whether the message has been delivered, so client can see who has received, who has responded.
