The MD item description is used to reference master data items in 4C Supply® scenario specifications. When users add a column Master Data
to a Storage Units table in a specification and specify a valid, active MD item description, then 4C Supply® will load the master data values associated with the specified MD item description to the forecast model.
Rules
MD item descriptions are mandatory for storage unit costs master data items.
MD item descriptions are strings with up to 256 characters.
MD item descriptions must be unique.
