Planned Depot Shipments
Introduction
A Planned Depot Shipments table can be used to specify when shipments are to be sent from the root-depot to sub-depots. This defines a period during which no regular resupply occurs, the only shipments sent from the root node depot are those defined in the table until the date of the final planned shipment. Once the final planned shipment is sent the regular resupply algorithm resumes.
Users must define Dispensing Unit Code, Receiving Depot Code, Shipment Date, and Shipment Quantity. A Label Group column is also required for studies that use label groups.
A Planned Lots table must be used to define productions that will be available to supply all planned shipments. If there is an insufficient usable quantity defined in the Planned Lots table an interpretation error will display.
If no planned shipments are specified for a Dispensing Unit that unit will not be shipped before the last defined shipment date.

In RED are Mandatory Attributes
Dispensing Unit Code
Each Planned Shipment must specify contain a single, valid dispensing unit code (from the Dispensing Units Table). If an invalid entry is made, an interpretation error message is shown.
Label Group Code
Defines the label group associated with a planned shipment. Must match a label group code specified in the Label Groups Table. This is an optional entry and can be ignored if label groups are not being used in the specification.
Receiving Depot Code
Defines the depot that receives the planned shipment. Must match a depot code specified in the Depots table.
Note: This table can only include shipments sent from a root-depot to its immediate sub-depots.
Shipment Date
Defines the date that the planned shipment will be sent from the root-depot. If the shipment date defined occurs after an expiry or DNx event an interpretation error will be generated.
Note: No shipments (for ANY dispensing unit) other than those defined in the Planned Shipments table will be sent before the latest shipment date.
Shipment Quantity
Defines the quantity of kits to be shipped in the planned shipment. This must be a positive integer. A Planned Lots table must be used to define productions that will be available to supply all planned shipments.
If no available quantity is specified in the Planned Lots table, the system will compute a suitable quantity in the forecast calculation and use this production to fulfill the planned depot shipment. See Planned Lots for more detail.
