Forecasted Network Supply
Overview
The forecasted network supply report shows average supplies over time. The supply values displayed are the same as those in the Trial Supply Projection report, only with the added option to display the supplies as Number of Packs. The report data can be shown for four different network levels, determined by the report selector (i.e., the Select Network level dropdown).
Example
Report Selectors
Depot: Shows the forecasted average supply quantities arriving at depots over time.
Site Group: Shows the forecasted average supply quantities arriving at site groups over time.
Actual Site: Shows the forecasted average supply quantities arriving the actual sites over time (only available when actuals are used).
Average Site: Shows the forecasted average supply quantities arriving at an ‘average’ site over time. The average site is calculated from the forecasted site group(s) selected.
Note: By default, the data for depot and site group appears stacked. Applying a filter may be necessary to rationalize the data. Filtering is essential when viewing the Depot level data.
Fields and Filters
# of Units
Defines the average quantity of dispensing units shown in the report. Sum of # of Units (default filter) is the average number of units supplied to a depot or site group, such that:
Forecasted network supply at the root node depot(s) = production quantities required.
Forecasted network supply at a depot = supplies shipped to the respective depot (depot transfers).
Forecasted network supply at a site group = supplies shipped to sites in the respective site group.
Forecasted network supply at an actual site = supplies shipped to an actual site in the respective site group (site shipments) - this is only available when an RTSM extract is loaded.
Forecasted network supply at an average site = average supplies shipped to sites in the respective site groups.
# of Packs
If Pack Size is defined in the Dispensing Units table, the # of Packs will be detailed in multiples of the defined pack size. This filter is only visible at the Depot level.
If no pack size is defined, it a default value of 1 is applied and # of Packs = # of Units
Depot
Determines for which depot(s) data is shown in the report.
Only shown when depot is selected as the network level.
Dispensing Unit
Defines the dispensing unit(s) for which supply quantities are shown. By default, stacked data for all dispensing units is shown in the report. Therefore, it is often necessary to filter for a specific dispensing unit.
Site Group
Determines for which site group(s) data is shown in the report.
Only shown when site group is selected as the network level.
Time
Defines the periods for which supply is shown. The duration of a period is determined by the interval for enrollment and demand value selected in the forecast configuration.
Period start dates are displayed as rows by default.
RTSM Data Extracts
In forecast calculations with RTSM data extracts, the forecasted network supply report only shows actual data according to the RTSM extract data in the first period. The first period displayed in the report is the period after the period with the RTSM extract date.
